The ask
Build Donna as a thought leader and a leading authority on building a pitch deck. Donna, although a very busy professional, had little online presence and even that was outdated.
Our approach
The ultimate goal was to establish Donna as an important voice on how to raise venture capital. In order to get her published on tier-1 biz outlets, we knew we needed to build her byline, step by step, starting with smaller publications. We knew we wanted to start with a bang, to grab attention and elicit interest. So the first piece we landed for her was a full-feature profile on Forbes.
Results
During six months of helping Donna refine her voice and messaging, we landed her multiple interviews and most importantly, an on-going stream of opinion pieces on highly relevant outlets such as Crunchbase News, Venture Beat, European Business Review and more. Our work with Donna resulted in us getting her a regular column on Entrepreneur Magazine where she communicated her insights and actionable advices to an audience of founders and VCs - her ideal audience. One more thing... After our thought leadership campaign Donna landed a book deal.
